It's my short-hand for "providers" too. And you make good points, so no disagreement there. I guess I just find it hilarious when there's all this talk of "obscene greed" for insurance companies - which nobody is required to use! - while doctors drive to work in Ferraris or insist the hospital helicopter pick them up because they don't like traffic. Then there's the doctors-get-paid-when-you're-sick, insurance-gets-paid-when-you're-healthy thing but hey, its like asking people to love lawyers too. (although you never hear them bitch when they need one) In fact ... I have a LOT of friends who are civil pilots and they typically form a group to buy a small a/c; except for the doctors who own their own. In fact there's one a/c ....
