But it's not the doctors I'm "railing" against. It's the ignorant. For example, what do you think is fair pay for "a doctor"? Oops! I suppose your answer would be: "whatever my government bureaucrats say they're worth because my government knows best. Government run industry just works. I know based on my no experience working in healthcare, business, or finance." So, ok, I agree you're the wrong guy to talk to about this - fair enough. But let me put it this way: if the US government wants to cut healthcare costs - and doctors are willing to work for a smile and a sunny day - why doesn't the US gov't just cut all doctor pay to, say, $100k/yr? The answer is, of course, because doctors are outrageously greedy. As are all companies that make a profit in healthcare: labs, clinics, hospitals, software, medical equip. And the answer is that we don't owe any of those companies a profit. So if government is going to mess with the market do it once and do it right. But start with those greedy doctors. We don't owe them a profit. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Want to reach the ColdFusion community with something they want?
