Ah, ok, well then Pres Bush surely must've known about this weakened state of our nation within a month or 2 of his swearing in right? So to correct your alleged placation, etc Bush would've had huge re-org efforts in place for our security AND would've lead aggressive efforts against terrorists, right? If so what were those corrective efforts? Cause the record seems to show he did nothing, nor ask anything of the CIA terrorist experts who were "running around with their hair on fire" all summer about Bin Laden. Yet, oddly, given all these massive changes Bush must've been undertaking he decided to go on vacation for an entire month just prior to the attacks. And the head of the CIA was on vacation for that entire month too. I mean if the country was in the sorry state you claim, going on vacation isn't exactly the way to fix it, right?
