Yep.

I keep the site on my host and once I have been paid I move it to live.
And I always collect at least 25% up front.

I made that mistake once.   We posted a site prior to receiving the
money
and we never got it.  From  then on, we never give the client access to
anything until we have cash in hand.  They can look but not touch :)
