SI made the same mistake. I had done a lot of work on a site and gave the
files to the client. I never got paid for it either. Ever since I usually
require a third of the final amount up front, then a third on meeting mid
point goals and the final third on signoff. Otherwise ifs its an hourly
charge, then its a net 30.
