Just the 1500 who complain. The rest of us will go on to other places in the
Galaxy, Universe or who knows maybe even another dimension, one thing is for
certain we aren’t going anywhere if we can't even get started on the moon.

So you hope we find water so we can then employ 1500 people to build enough
space suits to evacuate the earth and get to the moon before earth
disintegrates?

I seem to notice the same people that complain about the money involved to
do the research are the same ones complaining down the road when we can't
feed, fuel and care for ourselves.

Our top priority needs to be space exploration, the earth and the sun are
not going to last forever and we sure don’t want to be around when either of
them decide to go.

Space missions takes years, even decades to plan and execute. I am
sure this plan was conceived well before the current economic downturn
and there are many others still in the works. Canceling space
missions because we are having a bad year or two would be tremendously
short sighted.
