You have to careful with the use of "theory" as you seem to be mixing
the scientific use and the colloquial use.

"theory" as in "theory of relativity" means a framework that is
predictive and contains no exceptions. Exceptions then lay the
groundwork for a new theory.

"theory" in colloquial use means "an estimate" or "a guess".
Obviously TOTALLY different uses.

As an example, Newton's theory of gravitation (and it's associated
equation) is wrong, but darned close, so it's still used for
government work. (that's a joke there)

Point is that the "theory of evolution" is pretty solid predictive
framework that hasn't been proven wrong in a century of science. In
other words, it's either true or so close to true (like newton's
gravity) that it's effectively true.

And the truth is this:

Men and apes share a common hominid ancestor and genetically our
species can be tied back to that group (verified by but both genetics
and fossils). Our modern form took shape about 100,000 to 200,00
years ago.

Further modern humans migrated out of Africa, probably around 70,000
years ago and populated the Earth and created McDonalds. You'll see
them all around you so you know that's true.

Anyway, the fact is that we Men and apes share a common hominid
ancestor and that ancestor in turn shares a common mammal ancestor who
was probably a fish with feet before that.

And our earliest ancestors were very probably protein chains.

In fact this knowledge has enabled us to be very close to having (and
probably have had) the first human created new lifeform.

I guarantee you it exists in some lab. I'm not talking about a
creature necessarily but probably a virus or something.

And we are its "god".
