that is the real strange part. Relative indeed. In most of the rest of the world I'd be to the right of the mainstream. In fact the last time I was a member of a political party it was the Conservative Party. Says something about where Canada is on the political spectrum. Another example, health care - the last time a politician suggested privatizing medical care in Canada he was called a right wing extremist and tossed out by his own party - the Conservative Party.
