Hi

Theres a program out there from centrasoft think its called cfbuster that
was a great help for me. Also used Ben Forta's online test and his study
guide.

Now I should point out that passing the test doesnt mean you're be a real
developer. I found that if you'd ask me anything just before or after my
test regarding the cffunctions/tags etc I could have told you but after a
few months i was back to hitting F1! The point i'm trying to make is that
with enough cramming you could past most tests but to learn more about cf i
would recommend trying new things out at every oppurtunity, thats what i
did. Played with wddx passing data to javascript, played with cfhttp, played
with nesting tags, played with the form scope, played with crystal reports
(with no success), played with client vars etc.... played with everything
(except myself of course). ;-) I find its a good way to discover all those
tiny little gotchas not mentioned in the docs.

And I still wouldn' say i'm a cfguru , extremeley competent yes but not a
guru!!

While i'm talking about gurus just wondered who everyone would vote as *the*
ultimate cf guru...

Minutes... ]

guys.
i have been using CF for three years.

but continually have to ask for help...

i would never call myself a real developer, but do it as a job & enjoy every
minute of it...

So i want to get my cert.
where & when??
any links?

also i really need to ramp up my knowledge.
i have read just about every cf book i can lay my hands on.

but most the stuff i don't understand, until i use it, daily.

so what advice can you folks give me on getting to the next level of
programming.
with out a cs degree, or any for that matter.

just a love, of good code.
