in addition to my previous comments: if you know your co-worker well enough
to ask, might want to try to find out what type of pneumonia it is. One type
will kill you; the other type will make it painful to breathe and may make
you very sick but probably will not. Don't remember the names. The doctor
likely will ask though.

The point is that the vaccine only works against one of them, the lethal one
I think... course that's the one you really want to try not to get, and
yeah, preemies are very likely considered at enough risk to err on the safe
side, even if she's catching up her weight now.

As a side note, I finally got through to the health department and they said
that a few thousand doses had tricked into New Mexico but they were doing
pregnant women first, then infants and children with medical conditions THEN
at-risk adults. Which makes sense considering the way the kids are dying,
and besides, I can understand that I need to wash my hands often, which a
3-yo may not. But hey, they have gotten around to remembering that we're a
state in the union out here finally... three cheers :)
