Lung or mouth cancer, I can see that argument. But I can also see spreading
some of that responsibility to the cigarette companies.

I can also see the argument for polio and mumps vaccine refusers.

And head trauma for non-helmet-wearing motorcyclists

And general injuries for non-seatbelt-wearing car passengers.

I'd like to see a little less nanny-state, a little more personal freedom, a
lot more personal responsibility for decisions.

Of course there would have to be reasons and ways to opt out, but those
would be the exception, rather than the rule.
