He doesn't owe you _any_ explanation.

If you truly hold a ticket to the event, you can talk to the event sponsors,
or you can ask for your ticket money back (which they are already offering).

But then, of course, you cannot go.

As far as being an equity holder at Nike, again, they owe you nothing. They
need to file their federal and state tax forms, and as a shareholder, you
might get a more detailed statement, but that is it. No explanation needed
or required. or expected.

I would _love_ for him to not say another word about it. Just to spite you
and those like you.
