Sometimes it's just to elicit a response from someone. It may be hard to believe, but I sometimes (not always) try to understand opinions I disagree with. I really want to know why or how in the world someone could believe something that is so obviously wrong ;-) Sometimes I just don't give a damn. "I cast my very first vote for David Duke."
