I couldn't agree more with most of what you say, expect for the slap on the wrist for the false reporting. Or allegedly false reporting. Not to speak specifically to this case, but in a general sense, lying to your superiors in an official report needs to carry a serious punishment don't you think?
Note: I'm not saying these boys are guilty. I'm also not saying the detainee didn't deserve a little slap up. I just don't know how I feel about lying in reports to hide your actions. If that's indeed what happenned.
