I had DirecTV for many years. I dropped them last year, and they are still
trying to charge me $49.95 for the first installment payment of the NFL
DirecTicket package, even though I canceled the service before the NFL
season started. They went so far as to send a collection agency after me. I
informed the collection agents in no uncertain terms that they were aiding
fraudulent behavior, but it still is totally ridiculous that it evened went
that far. Either they are incompetent or they are cheats, take your pick.
