I'm not so sure.

The thing about all this, is that if you know the techniques, they can
be used against those who are using them.

Like I bet I could make you think I thought all kinds of stuff, for
instance-- but now that you know I know, you'll probably trust the
feedback less, right?

And that's where things get weird with all this. It's like
cryptography, sorta (um, guess I'll stop here, as the analogy doesn't
get much clearer without a *lot* more typing (if then!) ;]).

Behavior and psychology courses must just be a riot at times. All
those folk learning the stuff in the same room. "Was that a conscious
thing, made to look unconscious, or was it really unconscious?" and
etc.. The whole problem with tapping enemy lines, sorta (feeding
false info). Hrm.

I find it pretty interesting that our brains control so much, but most
people don't seem to realize, or maybe appreciate, it.

Whenever I'm on a heart monitor I can't help but make my heart beat
faster and slower and whatnot. It's pretty cool when you can get the
transitions going fast. :)

I was going to wax poetic about the definition of "personal" (that
it's not quite like the royal "I", meaning "everyone") and maybe touch
on the oddness of thinking both that "we" are responsible for our own
decisions, *and* that consorting with, say, "criminals" ("bad" people?
;]) can modify one's perception-- but life is chock-full of
self-contradictions, and it just makes things, ah, little. yellow.
different. better.

Woohoo! Next I'll be talking about how, many slogans are actually
quite good advice.

Just do it.
