Ok, I know many don't like dw, but it's not bad and it's all I've got. I have my local server webroot with my files. My dev box is connected via ethernet, accessing the files through a mapped drive. I turned off the cache because it took so long to start DW.
When I open a file, It comes up and I can see the code, but I get an hourglass for a few seconds every time before I can do anything. Sometimes the same thing will happen as I click around. Is there any way to eliminate this? I have considered moving the webroot to my dev box and have the server access it over the network, opposite of how it is now, but had issues with apache seeing the mapped drive. I could spend more time getting it to work, but don't want to find that it improves nothing.
