The facts are clear- people want health care reform, but overall they don't like this bill and think Congress should have scrapped it and started over with something simpler and more incremental. People are hopping mad about this bill, and if you think they are mad now, just wait until Obamacare-driven layoffs start this summer. If we were flirting with a double-dip recession before, we're headed straight into one now. The Democrats have managed to give Republicans what they lacked during the election cycle of 2008- a rallying cry that appeals to independent voters. With Republicans refusing further cooperation this year, Democrats have also guaranteed that none of their other priorities will become law, and they are facing an epic beating in elections this Fall. The President may talk tough about how voters will love Obamacare and back Democrats, but his job isn't on the line in November. And all of these issues are separate from the very real possibility that the individual mandate will be struck down by the Supreme Court, sucking out the money that the young and healthy would have had to pay to fund the system. Nice job, Democrats. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Want to reach the ColdFusion community with something they want?
