That is pretty much the way we have been doing it.

However, for this particular program they would be tested on the
material that is in the books, so its not like we can omit the
religious material when teaching them. One other glaring thing I
noticed in one of the books is how they seemed to glorify the Crusades
and the Inquisition. It would be difficult, though not impossible, to
teach them that material so they could pass the tests, and then
'un-teach' the Catholic spin and teach them the 'real' stuff

If the program allowed substitute curriculum for History, I would be
OK with it. But to enroll in this program, those are the books we
would need to use, and that is the material they would be tested on.

Our reasons for looking into programs or schools like this is that it
would allow the kids to have transcripts and a high school diploma.
