Depends...if it was warranted and the government went through the proper channels to ensure that everything was legit, then I am ok with them looking. As far publishing online...I don't think that would be legal, regardless of who does it...unless it was after the case to prove guilt (like an official release to the news agenesis) or as part of an FOIA request...
