"Hey Jerry...you do realize that the republicans lost in the election
right?"

Where have I heard that before? By the way, the Republicans deserved to get
beaten.

" They were invited to participate on several occasions and acted like a
bunch of spoiled bratty kids and still voted no on everything (to include
measures to help veterans and their care givers) and refused to do their
jobs."

Locking your meetings up so Republicans cannot attend is certainly not
acting like a spoiled brat. What is their job by the way? Though you may
disagree, the job is not to accept everything laid out by the Democratic
party.

"When you are in a minority, you don't get as much say in what's going
on...much like the republicans do when they are in the majority. "

True. The question is, do you get any say? With the Democrats in charge,
no. Is that what you want? Speaking of hypocrisy, part of Obama's platform
was reaching across to the other side. America is still waiting.

"The republicans were given ample opportunity to join in on the fun and they
flat out refused."

Yes, they refused to knock those doors down and barge into the meetings they
were locked out of. By the way, you seem to have a warped since of fun?

"Most of the republican proposals were not acceptable to the majority, so it
is not surprising that a lot of them didn't make it."

Which majority? The American population of majority of senators and
representatives.

"Don't try and bullshit people by spouting this line of bullshit Jerry. You
know damn well that the only negotiations were going on with the dem side
and the republicans were not budging."

No Eric, I don't know damn well that the Republicans weren't budging. They
were never given the opportunity to budge. All of the compromises were to
appease other democrats. Selective memory may have led to people forgetting
that the Democrats did not need a single Republican vote to pass health
care. It was all infighting. There's plenty of bullshit, but it isn't
coming from me.

"Republicans seem to only be interested in the next election and who is
filling their coffers rather than doing their job and doing what is best for
the American people."

I would argue that the majority of politicians are only interested in the
next election, including your beloved Democrats. As far as doing what is
best for the American people, it seems you and the Democrats believe a nanny
state is the best thing. I believe people should succeed on their own terms
and merits, not government dictates and incentives. I am not sure what the
hell the Republican party stands for anymore. They may spout a line similar
to mine, but their actions over the last 15 years sure as hell contradict
it.

".Germany didn't elect anyone in Austria or Czechoslovakia. "

Exactly. The told Austria, you will agree to be annexed or we will send our
troops in. Austria said okay. Same thing with Czechoslovakia. The
Democrats did not negotiate with Republicans. They said here it is, take it
or leave it.

You know Eric, it would hurt to add some new sources information. I am
sure MSNBC and the Huffington post can give you some good material, but
looking in other places can broaden your base.
