I actually gained some respect for him after the election. During his consession speech his supporters started to boo Obama, which by the way shows how childish they were. He basically (and nicely) told them to grow up. Prior to that moment there was no politician in DC that I had any respect for at all. Actually I've a theory that he was trying to commit political suicide when he chose Palin as a running mate.
