I can see why some of these bands are on here. Look at who came out of
NWA. Dr. Dre, Eazy-E, Ice Cube have all been big influences in music
even if it is rap.  

No matter what anyone says Nirvana did impact Gen X along with a whole
lot of other things/people. They are the poster boys of Gen X.

Michael Jackson is not a band. He is one man weirdo that likes small
children and no longer looks human. 

These bands have influenced so many things. From other bands to people
to causing religious awakenings. You have to look past the charts and
what song was memorable to the impact they had.

But then again I don't know why Skinny Puppy wasn't on there so I guess
my opinion is a little skewed. 

That's my 2 quarters 1 dime and 3 cents worth.
