Curt Cobain's songwriting ranks up there with the greatest songwriters in rock history. And like all great bands, even on just three or four albums, they were able to avoid recording any crap. As a 40-year-old, it's not like I'm writing with some generational prejudice. Nirvana came out well after my time, but from the first time I heard Nirvana, I knew I was listening to a great band. I have always owned every CD they put out.
