How about Ha'aretz...it's an English language newspaper form Tel Aviv if I
remember correctly...I'd have to look it up to be sure. Do know for a fact
that it is from Israel. That's where I get most of my info when something
goes down in Israel.

Also...it was stated by official sources that it was Israeli commandos who
attacked these ships...they are specially trained in guerilla warfare and
non-conventional combat...akin to our Green Berets/Seals.

First there's more than enough of this kind of thing going on on BOTH sides
of the line in Israel. From what I understand getting news about Israel from
The Guardian or BBC is like getting news about Democrats from Fox, so I'd
like to get the full story. An unbiased source would be nice but I'm pretty
sure there's no such thing when it comes to Israel.

>And this is a country that HAS nuclear weapons (and refuses to declare
>them and have them inspected).

Yeah....the only source of that is a potentially (bordering on probably)
forged document from South Africa. There's more evidence that Iraq has nukes
(and we all know they don't by now).

Also the idea here seems to be that these commandos were highly trained
special forces. More likely they were people serving their required two
years in the IDF (as every Israeli citizen is required by law to do). Likely
their training consisted of basic training. Granted Israeli basic training
includes one of the most badass martial arts on the planet, but it's still
basic.

Also consider that no matter what Israel does they're always painted in the
worst possible light. If Israeli snipers took down a suicide bomber before
they can blow up a crowded building the headline would read "Israeli Snipers
Kill A Man On A Crowded Street". Basically my point is that any news about
Israel's 'aggression' should be taken with a grain of salt.

I'm not saying they aren't overly aggressive at times. I'm just saying
there's no such thing as balanced reporting when it comes to that particular
topic. Either you've got the pro-Israel people talking about how they were
justified and ignoring anything they did wrong or you've got the anti-Israel
people talking about how Israel is the devil nation. There's no in between.
