Eh, wrong on several counts there. 1) You don't need to understand how life got to the state it's in now to understand what it IS now. Biotech would advance just fine without it even in the unlikely event that evolution got taken out of those schools. 2) Conservative != Christian 3) Even if they ended up with a Christian theocracy it wouldn't be like the Taliban. 4) Neither side would last 20 years before they were third world countries. The economic ideals of extremists would take care of that in under a decade for BOTH groups. The conservatives would destroy their economy on pointless wars sold to the public as fighting terrorism when in fact the goal is to get more oil.
