Actually the U.S. has a good team. Their captain, Landon Donovan, was on loan to my Everton (my team in the EPL) this past winter and played really well for a MLS player. Plus he's won just about every accolade that U.S. footie has to give out. As with everything you can never underestimate the United States' drive to be competitive. I don't see them getting past group stages but at least they won't embarrass themselves.
