Honestly, I can't refute or confirm that sentiment. I'm horrible with names. I am pretty sure that there are more open source projects than #ever# before though. A *lot* of them are doing really cool stuff, too. Maybe we could pull up speaker lists for conferences and see semi definitively? I'm tired of missing conferences. "Missing" as in not getting to attend even one before they're not held any more. "Missing" seeing the Twin Towers, so to speak. No hope. *sniff* At least my new job is down for things like conferences and whatnot. I'm so tired of the current gig, where only the two top muckity-mucks get to go con'n (like 4-5 times a year) even tho they don't "do" anything, and others could actually be learning stuff they'd apply.
