Problem is that the republicans are just saying no...even if it is their own
ideas. BTW...the dems won the last election by a landslide, so I would say
that gives them the right to push their agenda, just like the republicans do
when they are in charge. That is how our government works. I didn't see
too many people on the right complaining when Bush got us into 2 wars and
then implemented tax cuts to the wealthy...now all of a sudden conservatives
are worried about the budget...please. All the republicans are worried
about is the next election, not the business of running this country.

That to me indicates that BOTH parties need to be demonized.

Basically what you're saying is that because the Republicans won't let
the Dems do what they want they're justified in passing a VERY wrong
piece of legislation. What I see is two parties that are so caught up in
pushing their own agendas and fighting with each other that they've
forgotten to do their job. And no, saying they can spend money without a
budget does not qualify as doing their job. It qualifies as massively
irresponsible no matter what the motivation behind it.

Before you go demonizing dems on this, the republicans refused to pass
the
pay as you go rule for the budget and have been blocking most efforts
either
via filibuster or just voting no to just about every bill that has gone
across their desk, forcing the hand of dems to "deem" it.
