If you truly think White Flight is a myth, Cameron is not the one displaying ignorance of history.
I lived through the sixties, when a single black family would move into a neighborhood and within days almost every white family in the neighbor would put their house up for sale, or just move and leave it empty. Look at the demographics of Fulton and Dekalb County, Georgia from 1960 to 1970. And it wasn't limited to the south. Not sure how old you are, or from where you are obtaining your information, but in this case, you are just plain wrong.
