"That meaningless aside aside, why not extend that idea (stoning overpaid
officials) ought to be extended to the corporate world as well. I figure
within a week we'd lose about a quarter of the CEO's and most of the
Goldman-Sachs people."

Personally, there's a lot of employees and former employees of Goldman-Sachs
that I'd personally like to stone.

That aside, the CEO's are not public representatives. People should vote
with their wallet when it comes to private enterprise.

Ehhhh. Well, let me take that back, with all of the federal money given to
GS and other banks along with their infiltration into the financial sections
of the government, maybe they are public institutions.

There is that blurred line between big business and big government again.

"You forget that the corporations are the darlings of the conservatives and
ripping people off is only wrong if the government is doing it."

I've never seen that conservative platform before. Where did you find it?

The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are
willing to work and give to those who would not. I think myself that we have
more machinery of government than is necessary, too many parasites living on
the labor of the industrious. - Thomas Jefferson
