I call BS. The national average household income in 2007 was 50k and the article states that the average in Bells in half of the national average, which means those people are getting by on under 30k.
Besides if what you say were true then janitors, hamburger flippers, and grocery baggers would all have to be getting 6 figure or close to 6 figure salaries. No where in the US does that happen.
