I think it's more "our" job to fix The System than a labor union's.

I see unions being more about representational power.  Many can
achieve what few cannot.


The local union usually fights for higher pay for EAs, bake-sales,
blah, blah blah.

The path to hell is paved with good intentions, tho, so...
