I had not seen the HuffPo (I don't read the site) video though I had
seen the TPM article. I was actually talking about her unedited
statement there. I didn't think she really meant "take Reid out" as a
mafia-style thing either. I knew that she meant defeat him at the
ballot box. But when I read that quote again, she seems to be
definitely saying "If I and others like me are not elected, I think
that people are going to be going for armed insurrection" and while
she does say "I hope it doesn't come to that" she seems very
sympathetic to the idea if not outright supportive of it.

I agree that her involvement in the political process is a good thing.
On the other hand, I have a hard time looking at that quote and not
seeing it as saying that if her supporters don't get the electoral
result they desire, they will resort to armed revolution. Saying "I
hope it doesn't come to that" isn't anywhere near the same thing as
denouncing the entire idea of armed revolt in a functioning democracy.
If you are pointing that out as a mainstream "meh" sort of point of
view, I'm a bit worried.

Cheers,
Judah
