Given the full breadth of her comments, no I don't. Then again, I also live in the state where a multi-millionaire is self-funding a campaign for Governor and has a welfare reform bill that includes turning under-populated low-security prisons into state-run dormitories where people on welfare could go (voluntarily) to learn new job skills, life skills and get counseling. I am one that thinks that substantive change might happen in DC if enough people can get elected that are willing to piss off the party establishment and change the House and Senate operating rules so something other than the "status quo" can get done. That is a revolutionary thought. I'm also enough of a realist to know that it is fairly unlikely that it will happen this election cycle and probably not happen for many more to come. The fact that she made that comment disturbs me no more and no less than the open-mic gaffes of Jesse Jackson (who suggested gelding Obama) or Dick Cheney (something about assholes). They were said and later either modified, retracted or apologized for. In the end, my opinion about that candidates statement doesn't matter one lick - I don't vote in Nevada.
