The discussion was about the assumption made by some archeologists
that the Egyptians could not have built the pyramids because Egyptians
were black.  My question was made sarcastically to point out the
Egyptians aren't black, and even if they were that doesn't preclude
their ability to construct the pyramids.

It had nothing to do with Americans, as most of those making the
assumptions were not Americans.  The French, under Napoleon, for
starters.

But I guess attacking Americans without understanding the context of
the discussion is pretty standard practice these days, so I'm not
surprised.
