I did not care for Saddam's regime but then again, it isn't my country. We should have, and did, support all sorts of efforts to change Iraq. We support democratic reform efforts in China, in Venezuela, in a host of countries. Saudi Arabia is a theocratic, anti-Western, dictatorship. Should we invade Saudi Arabia? China? Venezuela? Once upon a time, the Republican Party said that the US was not in the business of nation building. I guess that stance, like virtually everything intelligent they ever stood for, has fallen by the wayside in the name of power and self-justification. Nice job on the moral high ground there Rob.
