I did notice all the failing states retained their leaders. The Republicans did win the house, now have the most governors and gained several senate seats. Not sure why you would try to spin that as a democrat win.
Those who lost are mainly the ones that voted for ObamaCare, except of course for the bluest states. I don't think the tea-party did this, I think the democrats did this to themselves. If anything the tea-party caused the senate to stay blue.
