Yes, it was a personal attack. But as the President of the United States, he is in the public eye and is often held to a higher standard than most people. Larry was trying to say that he hasn't any respect for Bush's opinion, even though (or especially because) he's our president and yet he could make a mistake like that. It was a side comment, it was his opinion of the President. It was not meant to be a defense of his position.
But the point is, was he attacking someone on this list personally? No. So this is not grounds to throw him off the list. If we are going to throw people off for stating their opinions of public figures, we're going to have to throw a lot of people off this list. Where do we stop? Michael, you want to weigh in on this?
