So should a President also know meanings of words, such as the word is?

I have a Master's Degree from the University of 
California, Berkeley - one of the highest-rated graduate 
schools in the country, with one of the highest ratios 
of Nobel laureates.

I achieved a 3.5 GPA, both as an undergrad and a grad 
student.

Are you telling me that a "C" average at Yale or Harvard 
is equivalent to that?

And re: pronunciation of words - it might not matter for 
the typical person on the street, but for the President 
of the United States, it would be worth the effort to 
learn how pronounce important words like that correctly, 
IMHO.
