according to a guy in our department, the opposite of 
general is pacific <g> (not specific).

and on our local all-news radio station, they are 
practising a variant of English known as rbonics 

(remember the ebonics issue in the schools a few years 
ago? it was about African-American language usage.)

they have words like supavisor, vetanarian, govamint, 
Sacamento (the state capitol), and of course the 
weatherperson says tempature.

riiiiiiiight.
