I think Vivec has a brilliant point, though. Much of this "conflict" at this point is a media game. Which the Palestinians kept seeming to deliberately lose with their flailing undirected violence.
If they move towards more "traditional" nonviolent protests, especially coordinated in multiple cities and even multiple countries, and drop the terroristic violence, and limit themselves to protesting, they are going to finally gain some traction, I think. Even if violence continues, if it is specifically directed at "police" during "protests", it will seem more legitimate, and many people with anti-police understanding will feel for their cause.
