Uh, why? I sometimes go weeks (maybe months?) without ever showing my
ID. In fact the only time I use it is for the doctor and if I got
carded. If I rented a place for cash and worked as a laborer I
probably wouldn't have needed an ID for 20 years. When I used to work
on construction crews you basically showed up and they paid you in
cash at the end of the day. I even had job at Kinney Shoes that
worked the same way. I could give more examples, but I could easily
live without an ID.

Because, of course, people living check to check who work 14 hours a
day in a factory have read through the absentee ballot process? Or
your average Appalachian farmer?
