People in Cali will still shop online and pay the tax so some slacker
with a generous pension can still collect awesome benefits So what if
a few thousand companies stop paying tax?

As for link revenue, the reason Amazon is not paying is because the
don't want to ship to CA.
You should still get paid when people from other states shop your links.
