States have been using sales taxes successfully for decades and seem to be doing just fine. My home state of Florida, for example, has a 6% sales tax, and my home county of Sarasota has a 1% sales tax (bringing our total here to 7% for new purchases). Seems to be working just fine with only a sales tax and no income tax for either the state or county. -Justi ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Order the Adobe Coldfusion Anthology now! http://www.amazon.com/Adobe-Coldfusion-Anthology/dp/1430272155/?tag=houseoffusion Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/message.cfm/messageid:339744 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/unsubscribe.cfm
