I guess i can believe that "on average" it may cost a university, or maybe
break even. But when you say "top tier", do you mean the elite college
football programs? because they most definitely make money. Notre Dame and
Texas, for instance, have some pretty amazing revenue streams from the
numbers i'm seeing.
