Phlogiston is still does not exist and it never did. Yes the reason it was theorized still exists and a real fact replaced this false fact. So the theory had a purpose and a real answer came to light. That doesn't mean the phlogiston material ever existed. > Actually *all* Theories are the most educated explanation ...but that > *is* dithering... :-) Not even close to true. If that were true we couldn't have competing theories. Also, we wouldn't have so many scientist setting out to disprove them. Spontaneous Generation comes to mind as does Miasma. > Actually, yeah, we do. And whether you "believe" it or not has no > bearing on the validity of the Theory. The only thing that matters is > what you can prove through experimentation and evidence. Wow, you are just so absolute. You do realize theories get proven wrong all the time and many are doubted from the get go. . ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Order the Adobe Coldfusion Anthology now! http://www.amazon.com/Adobe-Coldfusion-Anthology/dp/1430272155/?tag=houseoffusion Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/message.cfm/messageid:342605 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/unsubscribe.cfm
