I took issue with the word when she said it too. At least in the technical, legal, sense, this has not been proven. Did malfeasance occur? In my opinion, it's unquestionable. Was it fraud, hmm, some of it maybe. The Goldman Sachs derivatives come to mind. Can you *really* say that these particular individuals committed the crime of fraud? If you can, I'm all for prosecution. But I think that as with many things, there are more shades of grey than that.
None of which should be construed as meaning that I don't think anybody did anything wrong or that I think these guys should be running the American economy.
