Except, if these people had ever LISTENED to Paterno, they would never have
rioted, or even gathered in an unruly crowd.

This behavior goes against everything he and Penn State taught.

It is so un-Penn State like.

(As does the handling by Paterno and staff and Univ officials of the rape
and molestation allegations. Their own high standards are what make this so
upsetting to so many. Above and beyond the obvious outrage over Sandusky's
conduct)
