Prior to him living there, the only thing I knew about it was that it was the site of the infamous "Wreck of the Old 97". After seeing it once, I had no desire to return.
Parts of Virginia I love..the area around Charlottesville, Front Royal, Natural Bridge, Skyline Drive, etc. I lived in Hampton Roads back in the 70s when the hubby was stationed at Fort Monroe.
